Loaner Armies

Postby Trevor on Wed Feb 01, 2006 1:38 pm

Forgot to add that loaner armies/teams can be arranged for people who wish to take part in any of our games.

If you do wish to take part in any of the above games and need the loan of a army/team, then please get in touch before the date of the game so we have enough time to sort something out for you.

It went well I thought even though my Eldar took a beating from Rodneys Chaos Marine bikes!!!! I'm working on improving my army for Monday and the paintings not coming on badly either considering I'm not the most artistic person in the world!!!!

Well after another game where the forces of the false emperor and the alien Eldar were humiliated by the Battle Brothers of the lords of Chaos. What will they try next week to stop the juggernaught?

Seriously though 40k in 40 minutes has been totally enjoyable, though when we try the 1500pt battle might be a bit harder to loan armies, as I don't have that much Chaos.
Some would say it is better to rule in Hell than to serve in Heaven. I view these ideas as pessimistic. I plan to rule both Heaven and Hell.

It's been great even though Ive been getting slaughtered but then again its not fair to pick on newbies!! I know a 1500pt game will be hard to do this month for me so I'm happy sticking to playing what we are and still get slaughtered!!!

The past two weeks of Warhammer 40,000 have lead me to one conclusion; bikes suck or at least they do for me.

The games have been very enjoyable and it has been really great to see new faces at the table, you can get sick at looking at Rodney all the time

We have converted Paul to our ways and he has started collected an Eldar army, so who's next to be lured by our money draining warhammer magic :)

Paul, have you had a chance to upload the photos from Monday nights game?

Cheers

I've been so busy with work and looking at houses and all that other stuff that I don't think I'll have made much progress with the models by next week. I want to pin the arms which is a bit of a job.
The plastic arms on the the 2 older models I have are crap! Great models, then you blu-tac the arms on to check out some poses and you realise that the arms look crap, are too big, are in rubbish poses, don't fit, and don't even fit if you try to put the gun across the front of the model, yet look stupid if you try to put the gun in just the one hand!
Might buy a few more models at least by next week so I don't have to represent nurgle with slaneesh!!

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be late to TTN tonight (TTN Committee Meeting), however, I'm going to drop off some terrain and my bag at the room tonight about 6.30pm, so please start killing each other without me :D

I have 5 Combat Patrol rosters made up in my bag for tonight (2 Space Marine & 3 Necron rosters), if anyone needs an army then please help them out with my stuff.

See you all later.

Cheers
